History
Marco Valente High Jewelry was founded by the Milanese jeweler Marco Valente and represents the continuation of a family tradition that began over sixty years ago.
1953
Tranquillo Valente opens his jewelry workshop in Milan. In a few years, he becomes a supplier to some of the most prominent Italian high jewelry brands.
1984
During his first few years as a jewelry designer, the founder’s son Marco Valente experiments with his creative talent, designing and producing exclusive collections for prestigious names in Italian jewelry: precious creations made with care and master craftsmanship.
1994
At the helm of Valente Gioiellieri Spa, founded in the early Nineties, Marco Valente becomes a supplier and creative director for famous brands and produces bespoke collections for major jewelers.
2004
The Valente Milano brand is previewed at the Basel trade fair. That same year, the first boutique is opened in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan’s historic center. Between 2004 and 2008, Valente Milano has a presence at some of the most exclusive Italian jewelers, as well as a number of jewelers in London, Paris, Barcelona, New York, Dubai and Moscow.
2007
The Valente Milano brand is enjoying its heyday internationally.
2010
In 2010 the Marco Valente Design brand is launched, a new creative project based on research into the most cutting-edge technologies, the adoption of new manufacturing techniques and the selection of exclusive, high-quality raw materials.
2011
Design and production of the high jewelry lines of large international luxury retailers.
2019
In 2019 Marco Valente Design changes its name, but not its spirit. The new Marco Valente High Jewelry brand further enhances its quality, focusing on high jewelry.
2020
At the Doha Jewelry and Watches Exhibition 2020, MVHJ presents the world premiere of its new high jewelry collection with its distinctive understated design, high-quality materials, meticulous attention to detail and fine craftsmanship. Jewelry with clean, elegant lines that emphasize the cut and sparkle of the diamond.
